February 18th, 2008 - Introducing Jeremy
it's been a while but finally we have some new pictures. Of course the big news is the birth of Jeremy. He's 12 weeks now and he's a
really easy baby. He has been sleeping through the night for about 4weeks now, so we can't complain. Charlie is a really good big sister.
She's helping a lot and is kissing Jeremy every chance she gets.
Enjoy the pictures
August 26th, 2007 - Summer 2007
It's been a while since our last update, but better late then never. It has been a great summer. We have made a couple trips to our favorite
Lake Tahoe, visited friends and family in Cleveland, and got to play with cousin Marine when she visited for two weeks. The highlight of Marine's visit
was Parasailing over Lake Tahoe. Take care and please leave a message to let us know you were here.

Charlie made her second TV appearance on Friday April 20th, 2006 at about 8:00PM.
For the second year in a row not only did the Sharks defeat the Nashville Predators in round 1, but Charlie also made it on the FSN Bay Area Sharks Telecast Playoff Beard feature.
The bloke in the picture is Tim who posed with Charlie before taking Daddy to the Sharks game. Here is a link to
Charlie's TV Debut with an explanation of the Playoff Beard.

March 4th, 2007 - Busy, Busy Winter
We have had a very busy winter. Papaul and Michette visited for the month of December. We took Charlie, the reindeer head, to Bonfante Gardens and watched the Snoopy parade.
Charlie got lots of presents for X-Mas and her 2nd birthday. In January we took a Tahoe trip and Charlie eventually warmed up to the snow and had a ball on the sled.
Then in February we visited Tim in Monterrey and Charlie played with the fishys at the aquarium. Pull up a chair and enjoy the many pictures.

December 3rd, 2006 - Language Explosion
Hello everybody. It is fall which means one thing in the Balcher household, FOOTBALL. Charlie got a new Brown's cheerleader outfit which she wears everybody
Sunday. This fall we attended Ian's (Charlie's boyfriend) birthday party and made a family trip to Austin, Texas. Charlie is going through a language explosion
and knows all the letters in the alphabet and most of her colors. We are looking forward to Papaul and Michette's visit for the holidays. Happy Holidays!!!

September 20th, 2006 - Tahoe & The Zoo
We have had a pretty busy summer. We took a 4 day holiday to Lake Tahoe and had a wonderful time, check out the amazing sunset pictures. Then Aunt Hope can to visit for a couple of days and
we went to the Zoo. Charlie loves all the animals and knows what sounds they make. Some of her favorite animals are the monkeys, hippos and flamingos. A couple of weeks
ago we went to the Farmers Market in San Francisco. Charlie just loves running around the fountain on the Embarcadero, and we love chasing after her. Enjoy the pictures.

July 12th, 2006 - Finally, new pictures!!
Hi everybody, it's been a while since our last update, so enjoy the pictures.
Charlotte is now 18 months old (how time flys) and is working on her language skills. Everyday she learns new words. We are raising a very polite child who says thank you, please and bless you... Ok, let's be fair she over uses Thank you but it's a good start.
She has also expand her song lists. Jay taught her "Get off my cloud" from the Rolling Stones. But she also learns the ABC song and Itsy Bitsy Spider. Since she can't really sing (or talk for that matter) she is quite funny.
We are getting ready to go on a mini vacation to Lake Tahoe, our first familly vacation just the 3 of us.
Looking forward to see your comments.

Apr 27th, 2006 - Charlie's TV Debut
Charlie made her TV debut on Thursday April 27th, 2006 at about 9:00PM.
She was showing off her "Playoff Beard" during the San Jose Sharks playoff game. A "Playoff Beard" is a tradition in the National
Hockey League where the players don't shave while their team is in the playoffs. I guess it is supposed to bring them good
luck and intimidate the opposing players. Charlie was so intimidating that they saved her for last. GO SHARKS!!!

Apr 9th, 2006 - Mommy's Little Helper
Here is our second editon of the Charlie report. Charlotte is now 15 months and is copying evrything Mommy does. She was caught dusting the furniture with a Kleenex (she did throw it in the garbage when she was done)! She helps emptying the diswasher and with the laundry.
As you can see from the pictures she's a little bit of a clown and is making us laugh. She's talking a lot (she gets that from Jay lol!) not much of it makes sense but it's a start. She's very affectionate and is giving us hugs all the time, makes our hearts melt.
That's it for now.
Big Bisous

Feb 25th, 2006
Welcome to the first installment of The Charlie Report. As you can see (hopefully), we have added
a space below for you to add your own comments. On with the show...
Charlotte is doing great. She is walking like a pro these days.
It took a little while to get
her started, but after seeing her boyfriends Ian and Luke walk, she said "I can do that" and started
walking on her own (see the video).
She also loves to talk and sing, in her own language of course. Many mornings we are
awakened to Charlie serenading us from her crib with her favorite song "E-I-E-I-O". That's it for now.
